JEWISH DIGEST

Jewish Digest is a unique UK based charity run by volunteers for people suffering with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Around 300,000 people in the UK are known to be living with the disease.
It has been known for many years that IBD is more common in the Jewish population. Ashkenazi Jews are approximately four times more likely to develop Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis than non-Jews living in the same country.
Because people with IBD find it hard to discuss as the nature of the symptoms can cause embarrassment, their family and friends often do not know much about it or understand what it means to live with a chronic condition.
Jewish Digest’s mission is to increase awareness and help those living with Crohn's and colitis to make a real difference to their daily lives.
Services include connecting IBD Buddies, running IBD related events and online support and advice from IBD medical professionals.
We’d love you to run for Jewish Digest and we have lots of amazing incentives to inspire you!
Because we are a very small charity, your commitment to running for us will make a huge impact on our service users and enable us to provide better support for those who need it.

Jewish Digest are teaming up with Camp Simcha this year to raise funds to support kids with Crohn’s and Colitis.
