OUR SECOND HOME

OSH is a youth movement for refugees and asylum seekers training the leaders of tomorrow. It works like this: young refugees and asylum seekers come on an OSH residential trip. They cook together. Play games. Learn dances from each other's cultures. Have fun. Many had their childhoods taken away from them and at OSH they just get to be kids. The graduates of these trips take part in leadership training and go on to be the ones who take the reins. They help lead the movement. OSH is building the next generation of leaders from refugee backgrounds who will become role models and leaders in our movement and in their local communities, supporting those coming after. OSH now runs nine residentials per year and has hubs in London, Newcastle and Bristol. The charity has also started providing weekly English and Maths classes to our participants to make sure they are equipped with all the tools necessary to fulfill their leadership potential!
